This is a special one...Jon has been one of the biggest supporters + creative forces behind our label for a very long time now so to be able to collaborate in presenting their first debut album as a full band with Mateo & Ren is so heartwarming for us!

Shortstop was started as a bedroom project for Jon as a way to grieve the passing of a close friend with all the production/instruments being performed by him before being able to recruit Ren & Mateo - after assembling a team they were able to fully flesh out songs Jon had written for the project before any of the previous released material. This album is beautiful and cathartic in every possible way with how it wrestles with the themes of grief + acceptance. This is also a departure from their fifth wave emo/bedroom screamo sound to blossoming as a fuller sounding more traditional screamo band as a full unit and points to them becoming even better with each release going forward!

The tapes are blue shells with red splatter + white lettering housed with a 5-panel j-card designed by Jon that includes a full lyric sheet & history of the band up to this point. We'll have 50 copies going up for sale tomorrow (Monday, 2/10) at 5pm EST with the other 50 available through the band at any of their upcoming shows!
