We are happy to annouce the new EP "Seat Of Creation" from the Baltimore, MD indie-folk / alt country emo rockers!

Boat Water is the moniker for Erik Pecukonis (Lets, The Summer We Went West) and a rotating cast of friends/musicians who would record improvisational basement jam sessions on 4 track recorders together since the early 2000s before releasing their first official EP "A Sad Soggy Solar Pageant" in 2012. If you were a fan of the experimental / folk side of TSWWW than this is right up your alley and almost feels like a continuation of that project itself. The release has been beautifully remastered for the B-Side of this tape to be put onto physicals for the first time!

Over the years the group would continue in their collaborative releases before solidifying a lineup for their debut album "Ambrosia! Ambrosia!" in 2021. Seat of Creation sees an expansion upon their signature psych-infused 90s emo folk rock n roll that is deeply rooted into their first release and I cannot sing the groups praises enough with this new jawn! Its fresh and different from veteran muscians bushing the bounds of blending influences frim such vastly different genres. Erik continues to be one of my favorite singer/songwriters of this decade - its a pleasure to finally be working together after talking about this since doing the TSWWW re-issue!
