Quiltary - Boys With Bottle Rockets (Revisited) - Cassette
OGR-062 // Quiltary - Boys With Bottle Rockets (Revisited) // On September 13th, 2009: 3 friends from New Jersey released their debut EP titled "Boys With Bottle Rockets" - A 4 track midwest emo/Wes Anderson influenced record that would live rent free in our brain after discovering it on the depths of bandcamp in the early 2010's. A couple years ago, we would upload the EP to our youtube page and eventually get in contact with Biff to talk about our love for the project! After some conversations, Biff would eventually reunite with Nick & Russell to re-record their EP 15 years later with the tools and resources they didn't have as young adults while also adding the influence of their music now to the twinkly emo of their past to create a beautiful recreation of an already amazing piece of music!
To celebrate such a beautiful reunion, we'll have 20 of these dark blue tapes going up for sale this Friday (12/6) at 5pm EST with all profits of the release going to the PCRF (Palestine Childrens Relief Fund) 🇵🇸 ❤️
This classic layout was designed by @biffswenson from the band that includes a lyric sheet on the inside - Side A contains the Revisited tracks, and Side B contains the original tracks from 2009!
Thank you to the guys for letting a music nerd who loved their band put one of their old projects they probably wanted to forget about on tape and for all their help in making this release happen - couldn't be happier with how these turned out 🫂
